The service
JobAssay is a browser extension for tracking job applications, with optional paid features. By installing or using it you agree to these terms.
The Fit Score is advisory
The Fit Score and Company Snapshot are automated estimates produced by comparing text. They are not career advice, not a prediction of hiring outcomes, and not a statement about your abilities. You are responsible for your own application decisions. We make no warranty that any assessment is accurate or complete.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put into JobAssay — your resume, notes and saved postings. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service for you (for example, transmitting your resume text to generate a Fit Score you requested). Handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
- Do not resell, redistribute or share your licence key.
- Do not use JobAssay to circumvent the terms of any job board, or to submit applications automatically at scale.
- Do not attempt to extract our prompts, abuse rate limits, or overload the API.
Fit Score usage is subject to the monthly and hourly limits shown on the pricing page. We may suspend a licence used in a way that materially exceeds normal individual use.
Subscriptions, billing and refunds
Pro is billed monthly or annually through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, who handles payment and applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
We refund any Pro purchase within 14 days, no questions asked. Email support@jobassay.com.
Availability
The free tier stores data locally and works offline. Paid features depend on our API and on third-party providers, and may be unavailable from time to time. If a previously-valid licence cannot reach our servers, Pro features continue to work for a grace period so a network problem never locks you out of your own board.
Liability
JobAssay is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to Pro subscribers by email before taking effect. You may stop using JobAssay at any time by uninstalling it, which deletes local data.
